Heating Elements and Ignitors

So your dryer drum spins but there is no heat. Here are the most common things to check to repair your dryer. Bad fuse (take the back panel on your machine off to gain access to the thermal fuse), bad temperature switch, bad thermostat, bad heating coils and the likely most common issue why a dyer is not heating up is a bad heating element.
