Contactors

Contactors are electronically controlled switches which relay the flow of current to the circuit. When your contactor is bad, it breaks the circuit and prevents load switching in your HVAC system, disrupting the motor that circulates air. Contactors differ from relays in that a contactor generally handles more than 15 amps, while relays are typically rated for lower amp applications.

We carry Contactors rated Voltages of 115, 230, 480 volts. Amp ranges of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75, 90 amps. Poles: Single, Double, Three and Four pole.

When replacing your contactor, make sure you purchase a replacement with the same coil voltage, same number of poles, and the same amperage.
