March Maddness: NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament on TV, Live Streaming

Posted by By Eric G. Stark on 15th Mar 2017

A nor'easter may have pounded the mid-Atlantic and the Northeast Tuesday, but things are just getting warmed up for NCAA Men’s basketball tournament.
So “Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.”

Besides the opening round with the “First Four games,” Tuesday and Wednesday, the real action heats up Thursday.
Here is a breakdown of the TV stations - CBS broadcasting 24 games, TBS 18, truTV 13, and TNT 12 - to watch your favorite teams. You can also  watch the games on CBSsports.com

This year the Final Four is back on CBS, after being on TNT or TBS the previous years. Jim Nantz, Grant Hill and Bill Raftery will call the games. Hill is a real up-and-comer. Raftery is good, and I'll never forget his catch phrase, "Kiss off the Glass," but his looking and sounding a little tired and old. But he is so much better than having Dick Vitale or Bill Walton doing color commentary.

As far as teams to watch, my money is on Arizona and Duke; I have them meeting in the Final Four. I like SMU to go a few rounds and Rhoad Island to shake things up. I think North Carolina and UCLA will be a great matchup in the later rounds; I'll give the edge slightly to the Tar Heels, who play better defense.

I will take Duke - sure I'm going out on a limb with that one (not), but I do really like the way they are playing, and as a 76er fan, I really like Jayson Tatum -  to beat Kansas, love the point guard Frank Mason III -  for the championship.
