White Rodgers Universal Furnace Board Part # 50A55-843.

This control will replace all 50A50 and 50A55 models including:

  •  286, 50A55-288, 50A55-438, 50A55-474, 50A55-571.
  •  The 50A55-843 is an automatic gas interrupted ignition control that employs a microprocessor to continually monitor, analyze, and control the proper operation of the gas burner, inducer, and fan.
  •  Signals interpreted during continual surveillance of the thermostat and flame sensing element initiate
  •  automatic ignition of the burner, sensing of the flame, and system shut-off during normal operation.
  •  This control incorporates system fault analysis for quick gas flow shut off, coupled with automatic ignition retry upon sensing a fault correction.
  • Complete with installation instructions & necessary wiring.

    Blower was staying regardless of setting. Changed pressure switch, etc before deciding to research the control board. Everything was nicely packed and provided in the box. Unit back to normal after the fairly easy installation.

    Every thing worked out just right except, the new control was wired for the flame roll out switch that wasn't on my furnace. (older model trane. Once I put a jumper on the in and out worked fine,
