I ordered these inexpensive shocks for an old washer that I have rehabbed (put all new main bearings in, what a job!). The envelope arrived empty and they were lost in transit. McComb's offered to send a replacement set, which I greatly appreciate. Thanks
Thanks to the description by McCombs I was certain I ordered the correct part. The parts arrived consistent with the selected shipping method and were what I needed. The nylon pin included was needed because the tab that holds the pin in place was damaged on one pin when I removed it. I might have gotten by with the damaged pin, but I used the new one included and the job was done right. Washer back in service.
With these, new springs and a good belt, my Kenmore Washer should be back in operation. One thing I don't get is why the kit only has 1 of 4 pins - their plastic- if I break one, chances are another one is about to go, too.

Replacement Shock Absorbers were easier to install than removing the old shock absorbers from washer. One shock had broken so replaced both. They held in place, but unfortunately my front load drum was the major issue. Ended up buying new washer/dryer set vs. messing around with replacing a 12 yr. old drum unit.
