Wasn't sure it worked at first. Called McCombs and got information on how to test to proof water flowed. It is working perfect producing ice. Fast shipping. Lower cost than most sites and excellent service.

I was a little concerned that this was the called for replacement part WR57X10032 but it works fine and was a much more reasonable price than the exact replacement part. I selected delivery via USPS and it arrived several days before it was expected.

Owned a 30 cu.ft. GE side-by-side with ice crusher for over 20 years before the origianl water supply solenoid failed.
Orderd a replacement WR57x10051R for the O.E.M. WR57xIII
in May of 2015.
That replacement dual solenoid ended up lasting about 30 months before it started leaking enough to be noticable, but it had been leaking for some time as the mineral buildup was pretty thick around the part by the time I pulled it out..
Don't expect these replacement solenoids to do anything more than mark time until they starts leaking again - but what can you do in this day & age?.
