After installing the new seal, it does NOT seal as tight as the old seal. The door practically opens by it self with little to no effort. The old seal felt like it was magnetized when opening the door, this new one does not. I don’t feel any cold air escaping around the seal, so I will wait and see if it gets any worse before ordering original equipment. The service from McCombs was terrific and response to emails very quick. I do not believe McCombs has anything to do with manufacturing this part. I believe the part has a low quality that may not last long.
