This non-OEM fan motor is louder than the original. The configuration of the hex fitting around the shaft and back side was opposite of the original- the flats and points of the hex were swapped, so I had to install it slightly canted to the side in the fan bracket compared to the original. Perhaps that’s the source of the louder noise. But it was 1/3 the price of the OEM and it shipped quickly after ordering.
