Product Description

Dryer Parts Kit for Whirlpool. Part numbers's 279827 (motor), 4392065 (maintenance kit), 694089 (blower wheel).

The Dryer Motor is Part number 279827 the most common motor that fits Whirlpool made dryers including Roper, Kitchenaid & Sears Kenmore.   This motor replaces numbers 695075, 695925, 3390033, 339088, 3391886, 3391887, 3391888, 3395652, 8066207, AP3094245, OEM12376982, PS334304.

This Motor has 1-1/2" shaft on the pulley side (pulley included) & 1-7/8" shaft on the Blower side, blower side shaft is threaded, Left hand Threads.

The Maintenance Kit number 4392065 includes: Drum Rollers # 349241 (improved design) (2), Idler pulley # 691366, Drive Belt (341241) and related components.

Instruction sheet included (English and Spanish directions).

The Blower Wheel Part number 694089 measures 8 5/8" Diameter & Screws on to the motor shaft with left handed threads.

This fits motors that are mounted in the rear of your dryer, not the front.

    Everything fit perfectly, and solved all my issues. Dryer would only run a few minutes then shut down, and sounded terrible. Very easy fix for one person.

    EVERYTHING ORDERED CAME AS SHOWN. THE ONLY ISSUE I HAD WAS WITH THE UNIVERSAL SPOOL. IT SAYS YOU CAN USE THE OLD IF DESIRED BUT THE SHAFT SIZE IS LARGER THAN THE ORIGINAL MOTORS SHAFT. SO YOU HAVE TO USE NEW UNIVERSAL SPOOL WHICH IS A BIT LARGER THAN THE ORIGINAL. THE ORIGINAL MOTOR WAS 10 YEARS+ OLD SO THE ELECTRICAL SET UP WAS SIMILAR BUT DIFFERENT. ALL WORKED OUT ONCE I TRACED ALL CONNECTIONS AND OBSERVED THEY ACCOMPLISHED THE SAME ROUTING AS THE ORIGINAL. APART FROM THOSE ATTENTION TO DETAILS THE PRODUCT HAS MY FAMILY DRYING CLOTHES AGAIN!

    All items were a good fit and looked very much like the quality of the original parts. The wiring (for my dryer) is not plug and play and requires some of the original larger female spade connectors be replaced with smaller ones. Only two female spade connectors are supplied with the kit but three are required to complete the installation. I had to run down to the local auto parts store to pick up some as well as some heat shrink tube because the supplied connectors are insulated and I assumed they needed the insulation to prevent arcing (auto parts store didn't have insulated style). Includes brief but straight forward instructions with some illustrations for wiring. Shipping was prompt. I would recommend, but be prepared to do some minor wiring.

    This kit is exactly what I needed to get my old dryer working like new again. I did have to adjust the idler wheel bracket for a better wheel fit but otherwise a great kit and really fast shipping. Also a great price.
