#GivingTuesday is about helping

Dave Longabaugh started his Tuesday Giving Monday night.

Longabaugh, of Lancaster, gave up his time and used this skill in HVAC to help install a new McCombs Supply thermostat Monday, after my 7-year-old son accidentally broke our old thermostat - one of those one in million shots where he kicks off his sneaker and has a direct hit on the thermostat that dates back to 1953.

 After the thermostat broke, the furnace would not stop running, forcing me to turn off the breaker and giving us a cold house and no hot water for showers in the morning. 

Luckily, Longabaugh was available and McCombs had the round Honeywell T87 thermostat I needed to get my furnace up and running correctly again.
