The old burner had corroded through in a few spots so you got more flame than bargained for. This replacement works perfectly and I am no longer afraid to fire the stove up.

I purchased two of these for a Magic Chef stove and they seem identical to the original ones. I have been using them for the past week, and they have worked just like the previous ones. I am really glad, since one of the old ones was rusted on the assembly where the gas enteres the burner, and started to leak (small flame would start when using burner), so replacing them was critical.
They worked perfect just like the originals did . Recommend to any one with a Maytag gas range. I might buy two mor for spares.
The product was what I needed, easy to install, shipped immediately and at a reasonable price.
