After doing some troubleshooting I narrowed the problem down to the solenoid valve. My bottom ice maker was making ice and my water dispenser was working, it was just the top ice maker that stopped working. I ordered the solenoid valve and it arrived faster than expected. The valve was a quick remove and replace. It op checked good. I would definitely order from McComb supply again.

Original part only worked for 3-4 yrs. Just the ice maker solenoid seems to crap out. The water line is just fine. Good replacement part for our ice maker. replacement only worked for 8 months. Contacted McCombs and they replaced it under warranty. Customer support was fast to reply and help us get the new replacement part. Thanks!

Once part was installed no leaks observed as prior valve plastic ruptured, However I now have no ice in the top freezer and frog does not call for water as I do not hear it. Bottom ice maker working fine. any thoughts or input will help.

Product arrived wrapped in newspaper which did not protect it from the usual beating shipments get. It had a bent prong but was able to straighten. The product worked and the replacement was easy, thank you youtube. Great to have those available to guide you.
