I was nervous about buying this because I could not be sure by the part number if it would fit my machine. Kenmore 80 series. I have it in one of our rentals and did not want to go back to take it out, and bother the tenants. So I crossed my fingers, read a couple other reviews and noticed some people mentioned the 80 series. It was the exact part I needed. It was easy to replace, after I visited YouTube for the tutorials Price was half as much as going to Sears. Shipped fast, thank you!

Looks better than the original with this added metal plate below the switch that I figure is to protect the switch maybe? Is an easy install and my first job to fix a 20 year old Kenmore Series 90 washer which had stopped draining rinse water to allow spin-drying of wet clothes. The switch is a safety feature and needs to be engaged to tell the washer that the lid is closed and is now safe to drain and start spin cycle. I was even able to rig my broken switch for a couple of days while waiting for this part. But now glad my washer is back to safe operation and working well. Went thru the scary part of searching the web for a part for my washing machine and came across this site. With lots of shady sites out there, I counted on the trusted store logo and took the chance. The part + shipping was WAY less in price than had I walked into a local "kenmore" store and got it. I placed the order over the weekend and Monday morning I had "thanks for the order" and next a "your product shipped" emails. Holiday postal service got it to me later than I hoped for but once I got it, the part looked new, exactly what was shown on the site, and was just what I needed! Time will tell (the first part took 13 years to wear out) but so far a great value. I will be checking this site again for my next repair job!
