These appear to be well made replacements for OEM suspension rods. They installed easily and the machine is now running as it should.
My washer drum was sagging very low and with water in it would have 2" or more gap between the top of the drum and the bottom of the shroud. With this much gap water that flows down from the soap dispenser splashes outside of the receiver on the top of the drum and the water eventually finds it's way down the side of the drum to the floor. The new suspension rods restored the drum to the proper height of about 1/2" gap. The other half of the problem is water splashing up out of the soap dispenser and finding its way to the floor. The temporary fix is to reduce the water flow using the supply line valve at the wall but the long term fix is going to be a washer with a small hole inserted into the rubber elbow under the solenoid valve that controls flow to the soap dispenser. These two fixes seem to be working after running a couple loads of laundry. The suspension rods don't need any tools to install and it took only about 15 minutes start to finish. I consider this a success.
