    I purchased one of these, in March 2022. The install was easy and the icemaker worked, for 9 months. When it broke, McCombs said they would replace it but that I need to pay shipping ($16), to return the broken one, and it would not reset the warranty. I installed the replacement and it works fine but I don't have a lot of faith it will not break again and, when it does, it will likely be past the 12 months from the original purchase.

    This replacement for our broken ice maker came with the adapter needed and the instructions for how to make the switch. It was straightforward and easy and our ice maker is now working again.

    My ice maker had been out for a few months. I happened to find a video about someone that owned the same model as me and said replacing this part fixed their ice machine. So far it seems to be working correctly.
