Product Description

Replacement modular icemaker (2198597) and emitter board (4389102) kit for Whirlpool

This has a special ice stripper on it that helps to deflect the ice into the bin

The model refrigerators that this fits uses a PC board emitter sensing unit to determine when the ice bucket is full to turn off the icemaker  The cubes dump directly into the Ice Bin on the Freezer Door

This icemaker includes one flat rectangle 4 pin connection that measures 10.5" long

The cord is fuse protected

The Ice Maker Emitter Receiver Control Board shines a beam of light to allow the Icemaker to turn on and off

    Ice maker quit working and the sensors were ok. We bought this new ice maker and it fits and is making ice. The older sensor is working so I am hanging on to these new sensors just in case the older sensors quit. I have replaced the sensors in the past from McCombs Supply. Very happy with McCombs Supply.

    The kit, plus a screwdriver and some patience, were everything I needed to fix my ailing refrigerator. It included the ice maker, the sensing boards, and the wire harness with the thermal fuse.
