I purchased this item to replace a burned-out heating element in my 50-year-old Hotpoint wall oven. It arrived in perfect condition, although one of the two screws needed to connect it to the wires was missing. I was able to find another screw that fit, and easily installed the unit. The oven now works like new.
I have a "vintage" Hotpoint wall oven that I use very often and I love it. The bottom element stopped heating and I was worried about finding a replacement. 4 screws, 2 electrical connectors/2 to mount coil plate... hard to reach mounting plate, else no problem.
