Bathroom Vents

Cooler weather means more time inside; more time inside means more dust. Cleaning the ventilation in your bathroom is very important. Dust builds up and can impact breathing. 

While cleaning the vents, you may want a new vent filter or cover. 

Here are some suggestions.

If your vent color has turned yellow or isn't white enough for you, the BP33 Broan Aubrey Air Care bathroom ceiling fan  grille grill cover white will do the trick. 

This Broan Replacement Ventilation Fan Grill for a fathroom fan fits Air Care models AC2650, AC2660, AC2900, AC7550, AC7650, Aubrey. The size is 8-11/16" x 8-11/16"

It is spring mounted and they are 6-3/4" apart center to center.

The S97017702 Broan Nutone grille and lens assembly for 866RP fan unit is also a very popular lens cover. 

The Grille is made of plastic, the lens is made of glass. 

The Two spring clips attached that hold the grill to the unit are 12 7/8" apart. 

It sells for $39.34.

While you have the ladder out and are working at your ceiling, you may want to replace the Broan fan motor.

  The great thing about the fan assembly is its a "Plug and Play," meaning you take out the old unit and place this new unit there and - boom. You are done.

  Colder weather outside also means more cooking inside.

  Winterizing your kitchen
   

• Refrigerator: Clean the condenser coils. McCombs has refrigerator water filters. 
• Stove: Put turn to self clean and and put a cup on ammonia in a ceramic dish in the oven overnight to loosen some of the baked-on food inside the oven, or heat the oven to warm and the ammonia will work a little faster.
