Do You Want Cleaner Dishes Coming Out Of Dishwasher?
Posted by By Eric G. Stark on 15th Mar 2019
Today I attend Career Day at my son's school.
There was a doctor, a lawyer and a flight attendant (sounds like a jock in there somewhere).
But guess who got the second most questions from the class? That's right, yours truly, trailing only the doctor.
Why was the social media/content marketing guy at an appliance parts store getting questions? Well, for starters, I brought props in.
Visual aids always works well with elementary children. I asked them questions. And they had questions.
I brought in a dryer element and explained why if the dryer runs but is not heating up that the most common issue is the heating element.
I explained it could be fuses or thermostat, but the element is usually the culprit.
McCombs Supply sells a large variety of heating elements, as well as thermostats and fuses to make sure the dryer keeps drying your clothes.
We sell a thermostat package that includes fuse, operating thermostat and thermal fuse.
These are designed as replacement parts for Whirlpool and are designed to fit specific Whirlpool manufactured Dryer models including Kitchenaid, Estate, Kirkland, Roper & some Kenmore models.
Here are the parts included in the package.
279769 (Includes 352 degree fuse and 121*C - 250*F thermostat 3390291)
3387134 (Operating Thermostat L155-25 with 120 Volt heat anticipator)
3390719 (Thermal Fuse 91*C - 196*F 3/16" terminals).
So I get done talking about dryers and also bake elements, explaining how important the bake element is for an oven/range, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday meals and then I opened it open for questions.
A boy in the audience threw me for a loop.
He asked, why do my mom's dishes come out of the dishwasher dirty?
I asked what he meant by dirty.
"Spots," he said.
I quickly said, well, maybe the glasses need more space between them. But that's really the best I had for him.
So upon further review, here are some tips for getting better results with drying your dishes in the dishwasher.
Here are two tips
- Open the dishwasher door to allow moist air to escape. Leave dishes cool a few extra minutes for the dishes before putting them away.
- Allow more space between dishes to give more room for air and water circulation.
Note: Ceramic, glass and metal items absorb and hold heat during the washing cycle.
Plastic items tend stay wet. This is why plastic storage containers often stay wet inside the dishwasher.
Using Glisten dishwasher hard water cleaner powder can help eliminate spots.
This dishwasher cleaner and hard water spot remover eliminates cloudy film and spots from dishes and glassware.
Glisten cleans, freshens and maintains automatic dishwashers.
McCombs Supply has a large inventory of dishwasher parts to keep your dishes clean.
