Replacement Lid and Broken Belt Switch for Whirlpool part 279347

This switch stops the tub from moving when you open the lid while it is turned on

It is a 3 wired switch, NC, NO & Comm

Some installations are 2 wired, if that is the case, hook up to NO or NC terminal, whichever is marked on your old switch, leave the other terminal bare

Included with the switch is:  2 Levers 2 Mounting Screws 2 1/4" insulated Female Terminals

Replacement for numbers W10820036, 279782, OEM12376922, AP5985146 and PS11723153

Designed to fit specific Whirlpool manufactured washers and dryers including Kitchenaid, Roper & some Kenmore's

    It's not a hard fix, nor an expensive one, but when your dryer lid switch is shot you aren't drying anything. McComb's had the right part, at a great price, and these guys ship crazy fast. I couldn't believe how fast they got this to me. And it is the switchiest switch that ever switched. Had it in in 5 mins, works like a charm, my wife is happy again. All is good and right in the world.

    Switch installed easily. The only thing I needed to do is bend the short arm a bit outward so that when the door closes it activates the switch and dryer begins to operate. Great price for a very good product.
