Product Description

Oven thermostat part number 1842A57.  

7 Wire Thermostat with a capillary tube & bulb. 

Bulb measures 6-15/16" long.  It has a "D" shaped shaft that is 7/8" long.  

Printed on sticker of the part is numbers E/R27, 275-3509-00.  22 Amp. 

Replaces numbers 1842A057 and AP3798818. 

Designed to fit specific Brown range models.

    Package was damaged with a letter from the USPS enclosed inside the resealed envelope. The letter stated the procedure for filing a claim. The thermostat seems to work after installation but does not set the desired temperature for oven use....neither did the old unit....I'm dissatisfied but at least I can use the oven with a separate oven thermometer. Thanks for your interest...Tony Lange
