    The water inlet arrived in new packaging and was exactly the part that I was looking for. Works as described and now my washer fills much quicker.

    Kenmore HE3 Front Load Washing Machine Water Inlet Valve

    I’ve owned the Kenmore HE3 Front Load Washing Machine for about 8 years now and it appears to be a great appliance. However, about every 4 years the Water Inlet Valve needs to be replaced as leaking from this part is progressive in deterioration. The removal & install of the parts are easy and takes about 15 minutes. McCombs Supply had the needed part whereas Sears stated it was on back order. And it was delivered in a very timely manner as well, in addition to being cheaper than the same part from Sears.

    No more self filling washer

    The drum on my washer would slowly fill while off. This new valve stopped that nonsense. I did have to make the hole on the washer that held the valve in place a bit bigger because it didn't line up. Not a big deal.
