A few weeks ago, I turned on my oven and the broiler element “sparked” brightly in one spot, a lot like those wire sparkler fireworks kids like to hold on the 4th of July. The spark burned its way along the entire element, breaking off in pieces; bizarre and horrifying to watch. At first I thought I would have to replace the entire oven, but I did a Google search and found this brother element that matched our oven. I ordered it, and it arrived within a few short days. It was easy to replace and completely fixed the problem. Thanks so much for a great replacement element!
Part arrived in reasonable time. Only issue I have is the back mounting bracket doesn't line up with the original screw holes. I was only able to mount the unit with one mounting screw. Fortunately my GE range has a front bracket that helps hold up the broiling element.
