Product Description

Replacement Oven Broil Element part number CH7340.

It is designed to fit Whirlpool Ranges, and is a replacement for numbers 3195063, 8053712, 814431, 9757340, W10308476, W10856603, AP5999255, AP4700184, PS3418338, PS11731333.

The dimensions are:

  • 17" from the front to the mounting bracket 19" Wide 2 5/8" from the mounting bracket to the end of terminal, rod is bent slightly down 
  • Mounting holes on bracket across element measure 13-3/4" apart, center to center
  • Mounting Holes near terminals measure 9-5/8 center to center and bracket is angled outward Terminals measure 8-1/2" apart, center to center and are angled at 90 degrees

Rated 3400 Watts at 240 Volts.

Designed to fit specific Whirlpool models.

    I bought this to replace the broil unit on my whirlpool rf368lxps oven. The dimensions provided were extremely helpful in determining that this was the correct part. The install was fairly easy, and the element worked perfectly. There was some initial smoke coming from the broiler, but upon researching, I discovered that this is common for the first few times that a new unit is used.

    The cross reference numbers were accurate, shipping was speedy, and the item was exactly as I expected. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem, as I had a bad solder connection on the main control board, but I went ahead and installed this part anyway, as it wasn't the fault of the supplier. 10/10 would recommend McCombs again for any parts needs.
