It fits and works fine. No issues.
This was the 3rd part we found for our fridge, this was the only one that actually worked. It was even half the price of the other two replacements that were 'guaranteed' to work. I appreciate this company and its honesty of this part actually being compatible with our fridge. Now we aren't going to spend $$ on a new one.
This part is an improved version of the original water house type connection. I read some comments that clearly showed the person was looking for a direct replacement. This does mount a little differently but all the original lines on the fridge and electrical connections hooked up perfectly. the original connection failed which i did not realize till my wood floor swelled up and i had wet carpet 20' away from the fridge. I took the opportunity to install an in line water filter and replaced the water tank in the fridge with 50' of tubing that fit in the same location as the old tank. The old tank had black residue in the bottom of it. This part was an excellent replacement / upgrade and the price was the best on line. I will be buying more parts to repair my appliances from McCombs- assuming the prices remain low.
