The PCS220 is "programmable" because it features an integrated electronic solenoid valve. A technician can type in their exact target weight (up to 220 pounds) on the hand remote, walk away to work on another part of the job, and the scale will automatically trigger the valve to snap shut the moment the precise amount of refrigerant has transferred
