The PRL240 is a universal manual-reset bimetal flame rollout limit switch typically manufactured by Packard for gas furnaces and heating units. Unlike an auto-reset switch, this is a safety rollout switch. If it trips, a human must physically push the red button on the back to reset it once the underlying issue is fixed.
