    Replacement was an exact fit

    This perfectly replaced the internal workings of an old QT80 series Nutone fan unit, circa 1974. It was far less disruptive than cutting the ceiling for a new unit. Runs like new and much quieter. Big time saver, too. Installed in about 10-15 minutes start to finish. Simply remove the grill, loosen 2 screws and remove one from the housing. Lower the whole unit and unplug. Undo three screws holding the old fan motor in place, and replace with new unit. Reverse the procedure and you are done.

    The listed dimension was different from original but it look the same and when it got here it was the same as the old one.
    Not sure why that is.

    Easy to install product very similar to original blower. But has a little bit of vibration / loud noise on start for about ten minutes that’s why I gave four stars instead of five

    This motor & squirrel cage was an exact fit. I had to drill a small hole to attach the ground wire to the mounting flange. This motor or maybe the squirrel cage fan is louder than the original. I'm going to see if a dimmer switch or a speed switch is available.
