Installed in my compatible Samsung dryer that was not producing heat. Assumed it was one of the three operating components in this assembly. Dryer is now functioning again and heating normally. No info on longevity of parts, but the assembly fit well and works as intended.
Arrived as scheduled. Correct part. Wife very happy to have dryer back up and drying.
Came exactly as pictured, arrived in a timely manner, and was the exact fit for my dryer. I was able to quickly replace the heating element and thermostats housing and it works like a charm.
I did not test all of the elements prior to purchase. I wanted to do an overhaul on the dryer so I purchased the entire heating element housing w/thermostats. Because I'm in an apartment, I don't have a need for some of the tools required to replace thermostats (table vise, rivet pop gun, ohmmeter, etc). Also, replacing the entire component ensures I don't have to do another repair soon to replace dead thermostats/fuses which saves me time.
Ladies: I replaced this on my own, by myself, without a "guy" to help me. I saved a TON of money learning to do it on my own.

First of all, McCombs supply was great. Quick shipping and no issues. Part showed up when it was supposed to, good condition. Fits and works as it’s supposed to. What more can you ask. About a quarter the cost of oem unit.
The heating element went out in my Samsung dryer. I started to replace just the heating element, but found this unit with a new housing, thermostat and thermistor as one. Why replace one part and wait around for the others to fail? I bought this one and got all the new parts, already assembled and ready to install. Works like a charm!
After 12 years, my original dryer heater gave out. This was a fairly easy replacement and works well. Thank you.
Housing was much bigger than the original so I had to swap everything over. So far it's working just like new. Will definitely order from McCombs Supply again.
