    Perfect Fit

Posted by Bruce on 2nd Jun 2021

Original motor in my SubZero Model 632 went out - developed a dead spot and often would not spin back up after defrost cycle. Ordered this motor (SM0740) based on other reviews. Package contents are exactly as portrayed in the photo on the website.
Replacement was easy - I used my existing metal fan blade, as this motor comes without one. Fan blade switchout was a breeze. As mentioned elsewhere, the shaft on this replacement motor is shorter than the original, but it did not present a problem.
The exact matching 2-terminal wire connector that came with the package was greatly appreciated -- perfect fit to the matching end in the SubZero.
I did not notice any appreciable fan noise increase due to slightly higher rpm of this replacement motor (as mentioned by other reviewers).
The package arrived faster than I expected -- a nice change from typical Covid19 pandemic experiences.
All in all -- very satisfied.

    Subzero Condenser Fan Motor

Posted by Damien S Ferraiolo on 12th May 2021

This was the perfect replacement for my Subzero 632 condenser fan motor. It came with all the necessary parts nd was easy to install. The tech wanted to charge me $475 to replace. I replaced for $50. I am very happy with my purchase.

    Excellent replacement

Works great. Nice and quiet. Less than half the cost of a Sub-Zero motor.

    Short Shaft

Posted by Unknown on 8th Feb 2017

Works well. The shaft is much shorter than the sub-Zero. Not enough for the fan nut that was included. Fortunately the old nut was a little flatter and worked out.
