Hard to read labeling on the 3 fan terminals in the center of unit. Touchy adjustments for delay on. At 2 from the bottom, delay was 30 seconds. At 3 on the scale, delay was over 60 seconds and flue would go over temperature and shut down burner. Setup takes some doing. The NC and NO labels are cast into the black plastic housing, not painted on like the 24VAC and VALVE labels. On my old controller the “Blower” terminal was clearly labeled. On this unit that terminal is labeled “COM”. The best thing I can say about this product is “It works”.
BC-7070A/M is not an exact replacement for BC-2247-FA because the male spade connectors are wider than the original. Consolidated Industries lists them as equivalent, so I ordered the 7070. But in order to use the existing female connectors on the associated wiring, I used a rotary rasp and carefully reduced the width of the new male connectors to accommodate the existing female connectors. The other option would be to replace the female connectors. BC module works fine!
