What does a Burner Switch do?

Joanne: Welcome to Feature Friday!
Lisa: What are we featuring today, Joann?
Joanne: Today we have our range burner switches, also called infinite switches.
Lisa: Okay, and that is what this block is right here. It connects to a shaft and to your stove knob.
Joanne: Yes, which then regulates the temperature of your burner element.
Lisa: Right, so when you turn your knob, say to high, then your element goes to high heat.
Joanne: Yeah, something we don't always think about.
Lisa: Because the infinite switch, or burner switch, is responsible for that.
Joanne: Yep. Great.
Lisa: Okay, so we have a variety of burner switches in stock. Um they, what, we carry Robertshaw brand, which is a top-quality brand.
