What is the HVAC Odor Block and how does it work?
Nu-Calgon's HVAC Odor Block is an odor neutralizer that sits inside your HVAC system's filter compartment where it gets distributed through the venting system in your home, neutralizing odors and restoring clean air. How do you install the Nu-Calgon HVAC Odor Block?
If you are an HVAC tech servicing an air conditioning system and the house has a stale smell or unpleasant odor, you simply place the block in the A/C system filter compartment and it will neutralize the stink in the whole house. Follow the instructions below and notice the huge difference on freshening up the odors in your clients' homes.
Directions - Residential HVAC Odor Block - 6106-00
1. Carefully open the box top and remove the plastic wrapped Odor Block from the box.
2. Put the bare Odor Block back into the box.
3. Secure or place the Odor Block box on or near the air filter, in the blower compartment or any other accessible place in the return duct system. The specially vented box will allow the Odor Block to slowly evaporate into the HVAC system treating all of the system air. For faster treatment or severe odors, the box top can be left open or ajar.
4. When the Odor Block is completely shrunk or dried, it is time to replace it with a new Odor Block.
