CONDENSATE PUMP VIDEO TRANSCRIPTION:

Steve: This is your standard condensate pump. It's basically a water relocation tool. If you have a drain line in your basement, garage, attic that are too far above where your drains need to drop the water, the condensate pump collects it and then pumps it to a viable drain elsewhere.

Now condensate pumps are often used year-round, not just for air conditioning. This is your A/C coil drain line which works in the summertime. Now this is a high efficiency furnace so it does condense. Condense means it takes the moisture out of the air that's also collected and relocated elsewhere.

Lisa: So, it follows these drain lines basically, up and around, and then comes down to this wall drain. Which is called again?

Steve: A viable drain

Lisa: A viable drain. And then just exits the building.

Steve: Exits the building.

Lisa: Ok!
