This attic fan motor replacement installed OK using the belt style method (not wing mount) of this 1986 home. I used a short length of 3/8" Flex steel conduit to shield the motor wires as they connected to the thermostat. I did not find any kind of 1/4" clamp to use on the sleeve for the wires coming right out of the motor but the 3/8" flex steel snugged onto the sleeve well enough by itself. Motor is adequately quiet. McCombs price was fair and they got it to me fast.
