The Heater replaces part # 3403585 as well as other numbers.

Thermostat # 279816 Specifications: 

Includes 3 pieces:


          Thermal Fuse #3977393 is 309*F.


           Thermostat #3390291 is 250*F/122*C.


           Jumper wire to be used when replacing 3 wire


            thermostat #3977767.




The 3390291 thermostat is included in 2 kits offered, the other kit is # 279769 & in that kit it includes a 352*F thermal fuse, when replacing both pieces at the same time, << it is important >> to replace a 309 w/ a 309 (279816) or a 352 w/ a 352 (279769).




The 3392519 thermal fuse is 91*C / 196*F & has 3/16" terminals.

    Was pleased with this kit; the only complaint is one of the thermostats was different than the original and couldn&#039;t use it.

    MCcombs always provides the highest quality parts at the best prices!
    This kit was $100 more at my local appliance store!!??
    Kenmore/Whirlpool seems this kit is the only parts that cause no heat.
    Fixed the dryer perfectly!!

    The parts were just as pictured when I ordered.
    They were about 50% cheaper than from the appliance store. they came very quickly,I&#039;m very pleased with the service I received. I will buy from them again.
